Richard Janson

Richard Janson's imagery is constructed and captured in front of the camera not in a computer. He uses manual and technical cameras - natural, studio and handheld lights with reflectors and long exposures as he aims to 'paint with light'.
Janson's work includes still life, industrial landscape & portraiture. His past work has been a comment on the dislocation of food in contemporary consumer culture.
