Statement Visual Art Practice

Janson has developed an art and photographic archive and darkroom practice that includes black and white, colour and digital 35mm, panorama and medium format documentary photos and studio work.

This practice draws upon past artisan skills and a forensic interest in the physics of the electromagnetic wave spectrum including the visible and the invisible components coupled with a fascination for the physics of optics.

Photographic essays range from still-life, food, documentary industrial images and the natural environment invigorated by the pressing effects of climate change.
